Why
Downgrade the Firmware from 2.6 to 2.0 or 1.5 on your PSP?
Like most of us 'geeks' you probably are always looking
for the latest and greatest, including latest firmware
for our hardware devices. However upgrading the firmware
on your PSP may not be the best result for you. Many
games and movies are no longer playable or viewable.
And Sony does not provide a way to downgrade to the previous
version.

- PSPUpdates and QJ.net are reporting that eLoader
Beta for GTA now works on 2.01, 2.50,
and 2.60 Firmware. This makes possible to load
the many of the existing homebrew games, applications,
and emulators that are already available for earlier
versions of PSP firmware. Here are some homebrew
programs that are known to work :
Super Nintendo Emulator,
Sega Genesis Emulator,
Atari Lynx Emulator,
Vortex,
Throttle-X,
Squarez, and
Spider Solitaire
